IGUANA FILM PRODUCTIONSIguana Film Productions have been established in Australia since 1983 and for over twenty years has specialized in documentaries and documentary series. They have been seen on networks around the world including:
DIRECTORS JENNY AINGE AND PAUL ROYJenny Ainge and Paul Roy are the co directors of Iguana Films. They are experienced, and well known, award winning television producers. The company has a strong track record in the highly competitive Australian film industry with their work featured in the prestigious Australian Screen online project The company is also well know internationally having filmed in locations ranging over thirty countries from the Antarctic to Mali, Kabul to Kirabas, Sudan to South Island, New Zealand. Our location teams include some of Australia and New Zealand's most experienced cameramen and directors. Colleagues such as cinematographer Simon Smith ACA, and freelance director, Greg Stitt, have both worked with the company for over two decades. Greg Stitt has produced and directed a number of notable documentaries as well as educational films and corporate videos. Clients include the Federal Department of Health, and corporate giants, BHP and Orica. In 2007 Greg Stitt and Jenny Ainge co directed a successful history series The Sexual Life of Us and are joining forces again in a new historical documentary Girls Own War Stories. Also, in development is a further history series – A History of Teenage Romance. COVERING SOCIAL ISSUES, PERSONAL HISTORY AND CULTURAL HERITAGEIguana Films productions cover a wide range of topics from social issues, personal history and cultural heritage. Their films are regularly nominated for awards including Australia’s AFI and the International Television Science Festival, Paris. Paul Roy’s highly regarded A Dying Shame won the Special Jury Prize at the Sydney Film Festival 1997, and an Atom award 1998. |
